#34: Project Manager
There is a new section between the five-year and the half-year. Project manager.
It doesn't matter if you are already running a large business or if you are committed to your small project for half a year. Whether you plan to approach the project in a freestyle, agile or GTD or EOS methodology (*). The project manager is for everyone.
(*) If you don't know what these abbreviations mean, google them. We started the first one, GTD , in Žurnál. The second one, EOS , is still working today. And if you don't feel like Googling, at least watch the video and maybe you'll find that it's just for you.
What is it about? A simple reflection on where you want to see your project by the end of 2020. You can do the reflection alone or do it as a team exercise. Feel free to stick the leaves all over yourself, but in the end use these two sides to get the content of the exercise into a form that you will always have in mind.
Use the following questions:
- What is important to you in your project?
- What does a successful 2020 look like for you?
- What kind of people are you working on it with?
- What available resources do you use? How much space, money or time do you have available?
- What intermediate steps are waiting for you to get to the desired output?
Maybe think about how you should fill out this section. Are you going to start describing the feelings like a decade? Divide the goals into areas like a five-year plan? Or make a mind map like for the semester?
There really is no wrong answer. The method of filling out the planner is up to you. Your team. And your imagination. Just the fact that you think about things and agree on a comprehensive project vision will move you forward. And that's the point, isn't it?
Happy project planning :)
PS: If you want to take the exercise to an even higher level, you can make a Business Model Canvas for your project or intention. You can download the template for it here (in English). And if you don't know what it is, the following video will help you:
