#22: My personality
If you are the owner of Schoolboy, you continue in the second area of the Journal. If not, this exercise is an extension of the Who I am section, which we found so useful that we also put it in the senior Journal :)
Why? Because we teamed up with online psychological testing experts Emiero and put together a method that connects the paper world with the internet. But let's get things in order.
Emiero tests are widespread and popular because they accurately and graphically provide a picture of key behavioral characteristics that are common to all people. They help people understand what their strengths are and explain why they also have their weaknesses. They subsequently use this when choosing a field of study, type of school, choosing a profession, and also help them enter collegial, friendly and partnership relationships and get along with other people.
This personality test is based on the work of Carl Jung and Isabel Briggs-Mayers, but note that it is not an MBTI test and should not be perceived as such.
How to proceed?
- Go to emiero.sk and choose an accurate (60 questions) or quick test (20 questions).
- Click on the answers that best describe you.
- Enter your email and receive an extended report of your skills and recommended career paths.
If you own a Schoolboy, continue with the following points:
- Fill in the resulting career type along with its name in the first question in the Journal.
- In the second question, add the character traits that came out of the test. Compare them with your strengths from the Who am I? Do they match? Do not be afraid to add additional points, even beyond the scope of this test.
- On the page to the right, write down the professions that are suitable for you. Again, you don't have to stick to the test results, add your own. For example, I added the last two to my list — I assume that Mr. Jung did not have such a specific profession as a marketing consultant in mind :)
- For each proposed occupation, mark whether it is suitable for you or not. For example, I knew that I didn't want to work in the state sector, I wasn't considering a career as a programmer, I didn't have the nerve to be a teacher, and I couldn't even be a doctor. With a little blood, I'd probably fall off them there :)
- Keep the rest of the professions. You will need them in the next exercise.
